Pet Sitter/Dog walker | part-time

At Fueled by Fur Pet Care, we're more than just pet sitters; we're trusted friends who provide peace of mind for pet parents in our community. We believe every pet deserves exceptional care, love, and attention when their family is away. We are currently looking to add a passionate and reliable Pet Sitter Associate to our team in the Macedonia/Northern Summit, Ohio area.

A Day in the Life (What You'll Do):

As our Pet Sitter & Dog Walker, you'll be the hero our clients and their furry family members count on. You'll bring joy and ensure safety for pets while their owners are at work or on vacation.

Provide Top-Notch Pet Care: You'll handle everything from refreshing food and water bowls to administering medication and, of course, giving plenty of belly rubs, head scratches, and playtime.
Lead Fun & Safe Adventures: You will take dogs on energizing walks and potty breaks, making sure they get their daily dose of exercise and fresh air right in their own neighborhood.
Be a Great Communicator: You’ll send our clients updates and adorable photos of their pets through our app, giving them confidence that their best friend is in great hands.
Keep Homes Tidy & Secure: You’ll help with small household tasks like bringing in the mail and watering plants to ensure our clients return to a happy pet and a secure home.

What You Bring to the Table (Our Must-Haves):

You have a genuine love and respect for all animals (dogs and cats are a must!).
You are extremely reliable, punctual, and trustworthy—our clients depend on it.
You have a valid driver's license, a reliable and insured vehicle, and a smartphone.
You are at least 18 years old and can pass a criminal background check and drug test.
You are comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or working in a vet clinic or shelter.
Knowledge of basic pet first aid and CPR.
Experience caring for pets with special needs or medical conditions.
